Dr. Jean Lai, DTCM, DAOM, combines the science of modern medicine with the wisdom of classical Chinese medicine to provide personalized, patient-centered care. After completing studies in nursing, physiology, and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Taiwan, she spent more than a decade serving as a clinic director, educator, and practitioner before relocating to Seattle. In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as a faculty member and clinical supervisor at the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine (SIEAM).

Dr. Jean specializes in classical pulse diagnosis and individualized herbal medicine rooted in traditional Chinese medical texts. She has extensive experience treating a wide range of conditions, with particular interests in women’s health, fertility support, pediatrics, oncology support, and internal medicine.

By looking beyond symptoms to the underlying patterns of imbalance, Dr. Jean creates individualized treatment plans that support long-term health and vitality.
